A small, vibrant kinchaku-style pouch handcrafted from authentic vintage Japanese kimono silk in bold shades of red and pink. This eye-catching textile features traditional shibori-style resist-dye patterns and subtle sheen accents. The crepe texture of the silk gives the pouch a soft matte shimmer and tactile depth, with a rhythmic, organic elegance unique to each piece.
Softly structured and designed for small essentials, the pouch is lined in deep red-orange 100% cotton for strength and contrast. Reinforced with lightweight interfacing, it holds its shape while remaining flexible enough to collapse flat when empty. The opening is cinched with thick, hand-twisted natural hemp cords secured with a traditional Japanese square knot for an added touch.
Please note: Each pouch is handmade in small batches from upcycled vintage kimono silk. Slight variations, fabric inconsistencies, or hand-stitching marks are part of its artisanal nature and reflect the fabric’s age and history.
