A small, kinchaku-style pouch handcrafted from authentic vintage Japanese kimono silk—most likely woven sha, a lightweight, slightly textured fabric traditionally used for summer garments. This upcycled textile features a classic momiji (maple leaf) motif in muted tones of red, yellow, and green, scattered across a soft beige background.
Compact and lightweight, the pouch is ideal for carrying small essentials—perfect for coins, jewelry, lip balm, or other daily items. The interior is fully lined with deep green 100% cotton for structure and contrast. It’s finished with hand-twisted 100% hemp cords tied in a traditional Japanese square knot (crown knot), blending heritage technique with minimalist design.
Please note: Each pouch is handmade in small batches from upcycled vintage kimono silk. Slight imperfections—such as fabric variations or minor stitching irregularities—are part of its handcrafted nature and reflect the fabric’s history.
