A One-of-a-Kind Clutch, Rooted in Tradition
Woven with flowing streams and fading florals, this one-of-a-kind clutch transforms 1960s kimono silk into quiet elegance. The fabric—once part of a Nagajuban (a traditional inner kimono)—features a deep purple hue, subtle sheen, and crepe-like texture unique to Chirimen silk. Each bag is cut from a different part of the textile, so no two are ever alike.
The fold-over shape is structured with premium Decovil and lined in wine-colored cotton. It closes with a hidden magnetic clasp and features an interior pocket sized for most smartphones. A detachable 48” metal chain connects to hidden D-rings, letting you wear it crossbody, on the shoulder, or carry it by hand.
Wrapped in reusable furoshiki cloth, every clutch arrives like a thoughtful gift—grounded in cultural tradition and intention.
Please note: Because each is handmade from vintage kimono silk, you may see signs of its journey: soft asymmetry, slight puckering, or visible hand-stitching. These details aren’t flaws—they’re the mark of a story worth carrying.
